Gail Morris presents an installation she called The  Pharmacy Connection. It consists of several parts: -there’s a snakeskin vase, inside and out there are various seeds, paper and a pen. The artist adresses the humanity’s relationship to the Earth. The planet will last, but we only until resources are exhausted. Though conscious of that, people still keep polluting the environment and exhausting the resources. Soon, we will poison ourselves and destroy our survival options. It’s necessary to make great changes to be able to maintain life-changes in our way of thinking, first and foremost. One will have to accept the new order, admit our mistakes and show a change of mind and attitude. It’s necessary to discard agression, opression, unneccessary exploatation. That requires a social(not a socialist) revolution and an evolution of attitude.  Only then will positive changes be possible.  The artist says: „So I present “The Apothecary’s Vase “, a traditionally shaped vase made from snakeskin shed through it’s own growing process. The snake is a symbol of energy – of force pure and simple, used by the healing peoples of the past and present. The Vase is a place of nurture, growth.  May I suggest you write a pledge upon the paper provided and place it in the vase?  A pledge being to find within yourself something you wish to forgive and something good to replace it.  Afterwards take a seed from around the vase, take it with you, let this seed be with you, keep it or plant it, cherish it let it remind you of your wish for change.“
