Ira Schneider, one of the global pioneers in video art. The results of his assessment of the element of water within this exhibition can be described as a dynamic approach through the medium of video. We are talking about a sequence of pictures of the different states of water. Water is characterised by flow, constant change, a sequence of visual sensations. The flow can be depicted film-style: with a sequence of images. This is what the piece of the photographer Ira Schneider is about. He interprets the constant movement, changes and uncertainties of the natural occurrences, and with that, of those within us, illustrating it with the liquid characteristics of water. Schneider interprets the visual in water, trying to show his fascination with it. He plays with the technical possibilities of photo editing, using computer programs to artistically edit the found state. Ira Schneider adds sounds to the video interpretation of his impressions of water. The piece is directed based on the rhythm of the sound background. The style of it varies from Beethoven and Rachmaninov to the Croat guitar player Predrag Marić. The video has a meditative form and logical course of development: start, development, peak, and decline. The transformation of visual forms and the flow of sound leave a powerful impression. In this way, the author intuitively speaks to the viewer, through two mediums: picture and sound.
