Nela Hasanbegović responded to the theme of the project with her video work Postscriptum, a depiction of her family’s lineage and personal questioning of belonging to a place. Following the synopsis of the film, the author places herself into the frame, takes a brush and continually writes on her skin, using red colour that symbolizes blood; a symbol of the genetic code, important constituent both of the body and the family lineage. The written text constitutes of the names of ancestors. The author’s body in the seated position represents the family tree, which makes herself a continuation of the tree and its shadow at the same time. The author says: „the amount of the names creates numerous drawings making them unreadable, thus morphing into a visual phenomenon.“ The special feature of this peformance is the usage of the old script called bosancica, which is no longer in use. This accentuates the historical background of the project but also the constant changes-the uninterrupted flow of things through space and time.
